I’m Ben Alden, founder and leader of this exciting programme, dedicated to guiding and supporting young choristers on their unique path to musical growth.
My journey
With 35 years of experience in choral singing and 20 years as a professional singer and vocal coach, my journey has been wonderfully diverse and fulfilling.
For the past decade, I have had the privilege of teaching the choristers from the world-renowned St George’s Chapel Choir, Windsor Castle, where I also sing as a Lay Clerk. I help the choristers maximise their talents and achieve their musical goals.
My career as an active freelance performer keeps me connected to the professional music world, which I bring into my teaching to inspire and guide young choristers. I can vouch for the fact that beginning your musical journey singing at a local parish church on a Sunday can lead to performing on stage at some of the most prestigious concert venues in the world.
